So the day has officially arrived!! I proudly present “Speechless”, my brand new and very first instrumental album available in various formats now via Arcadiac Records (Limited Edition Compact Disc), my own website / Bandcamp (Very Limited Edition Customised Cassette)as well as I-Tunes (digital version) and every other digital outlet available; so, hopefully getting your hands on it will not be an issue. What..? Speechless you say..? But Why…?
Well… “Speechless” because the world shocks me into submission practically every single day without fail. The news horrifies, people disappoint, nature destroys and yet we’re still here. Every time one thinks humans should have learned from mistakes and surely things can start to get better the cycle continues and history repeats itself relentlessly… day after day, year after year. This project purposely has not a single word, cut or sample to try and relay the emotions that entrap my thoughts daily leaving only the basis of what I’m all about with nothing extra to add or opinion to offer to help lift the mood; because try as I may, I just don’t have the words.
It is a purposely bland album designed to intrigue introspect and allow for reflection on the planet as it stands at the moment. Everything is left to the imagination with some serious chillwave and ambient steez which could also be great for just chilling out and listening to some laid back tunes that don’t force themselves upon you but rather just enhance the mood of whatever you’re doing at the time.
The simply stunning cover art put together by the one and only Jim Baum! I really don’t think it could be any better ♥ Plus he even went one step further and assembled some very limited CD’s for ya!
